Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Memories Import ("the app," "we," "our," or "us").
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Memories Import, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.
Description of Service
Memories Import is a mobile application that allows you to import photos and videos from your Snapchat data export to your device's camera roll. The app:
- Processes Snapchat export ZIP files on your device
- Downloads media files from Snapchat's servers using links in your export
- Saves media to your device's photo library with preserved metadata
- Operates entirely offline with no data transmitted to our servers
Purchase and Payment
Memories Import offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks full functionality:
- Payment is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- The purchase is a one-time payment, not a subscription
- Your purchase can be restored on other devices using the same app store account
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies
User Responsibilities
By using Memories Import, you agree that:
- You have the right to access and download the content in your Snapchat export
- You will only use the app to import your own Snapchat memories
- You are responsible for complying with Snapchat's Terms of Service
- You understand that Snapchat export download links expire after approximately 7 days
- You will not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Fortivus and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the app
- Reverse engineer or decompile the app
- Use the app's name or branding without permission
Third-Party Services
Memories Import interacts with third-party services:
- Snapchat: The app processes data you have exported from Snapchat. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Snap Inc.
- App Stores: Distribution and payments are handled by Apple and Google
Disclaimer of Warranties
Memories Import is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- The app will meet your specific requirements
- The app will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- All media in your export will be successfully imported
- Snapchat's download links will remain valid for any specific period
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fortivus shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or content
- Failed imports or corrupted files
- Expired download links
- Any issues arising from Snapchat's services or data format changes
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fortivus from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Fortivus operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
